The depth of the existing material to be removed/reclaimed including existing pavement and stone layers is 13" which is why the 13" dimension was denoted in the description.

Yes, the backup power requirements have been evaluated. The UPS specified in the contract documents is consistent with the Concept of Operations and System Requirements to address the intended backup needs for the project.

Single line comm diagrams show that UPS are not connected via the ethernet switch, is this accurate?

Yes, per Section 802 of the 2020 VDOT Road and Bridge specifications the UPS shall be connected to the Layer 2 switch in the cabinet. VDOT is supplying the switches for the contractor for this project and will provide switches with sufficient ports for all connected devices, including the UPS.

Sheet 325 of 396 in the N25B_122147 details $260,033 in Estimated Cost to cover the Flaggers and Associated fees for 88 days of work over SXT. Please clarify whether these costs are to be carried by the contractor or will be covered by the owner?

CSXT will invoice VDOT. VDOT will cover the cost for the estimated quantity established in the contract. If values are in excess of estimated quantities, contractor will be responsible per Section 107.19.

The specifications indicate that all steel associated with the bridge scuppers and drainage system is required to be seamless and domestically manufactured. Suppliers have indicated potential challenges in sourcing domestic steel for this application. Please confirm that compliant products meeting these requirements are currently available from domestic manufacturers

The Department has confirmed the material is domestically available and being supplied on other projects without issue.
