Quantities are estimated; however, there may be instances where lane closures are required without work crews adjacent to traffic (e.g., for material deliveries).

Note D.) of section 1 on plan sheet 1G(1) states the allowable work zone hours shall be in accordance with the limitations of operations specifical provision. No such provision exists in the proposal. Sheet 1G2) includes allowable lane closure hours for Rte. 117 Peters Creek Road, but there is no mention of allowable closures for I-581 mainline or ramp D. Is the note on sheet 1G(1) in error or is that information missing from the proposal?

The note on sheet 1G(1) referencing the special provision for limitation of operations will be removed via a forthcoming addendum. (There is no such special provision for this contract.) A note will be added to sheet 1G(2) regarding potential lane closures for Ramp D. Lane closures along I-581 mainline, other than for the deceleration lane leading to the Exit 2N Ramp, are not anticipated to be necessary for this project.
