Due to extension material lead times; based on project award/contract duly executed/notice to proceed/lead time for shop drawings/review & approval of shop drawings/material procurement lead time upon approval of shop drawings, request the department to revise the completion date from October 10, 2023, as noted in previous CABB question response to November 30, 2023. Additionally, item 0410 - Field Office Ty.I identified a quantity of 12 months. Please confirm completion date can be revised to November 30, 2023.

The Department considered appropriate time for submittal reviews and procurement within the current completion date of October 10, 2023. Completion date of October 10, 2023 remains as fixed completion date. Field Office Ty.I identified with a quantity of 12 months shall not be construed to indicate any bearing on fixed completion date.

Due to the long lead time for signal poles (between 24 & 26 weeks from approval) how will the department handle the liquidated damages with the contractor?

The Department has evaluated the initial completion date for the project and up-to-date information related to lead times for signal materials. Based on this review the completion date of the project will be revised to October 10, 2023 via forthcoming addendum.

Plans show Pole A with 70' and 49' Mast Arms, Pole B has 75' Mast Arm and pole C show 75' Mast arm. Bid Sheet shows Line 660 with 2x 49', line 670 shows 1 x 70' Mast Arm and line 680 shows 1x 75' Mast arm. Which are we quoting?
