Mix design by contractor is not required. Please use the 9% by weight cement as specified.

Question Date: 7/18/2022 2:46:40 PM
Per page 287 in the project proposal (Rt. 2214) the notes read that a mix design is not required, and the cement content is 9% by weight. Per the FDR specs posted on 7/14/2022, it reads that a mix design is required by the contractor. Can you verify if a mix design provided, by the contractor, will be required for this job?
Answer   Date: 7/18/2022 3:51:14 PM
Mix design by contractor is not required. Please use the 9% by weight cement as specified.
