Proposal Line Number 0380 is a pay item for Bridge Incidentals-Temporary Shoring. The grading and the bridge plans do not show Temporary Shoring. Where des the Department anticipate the contractor installing Temporary Shoring?

The bid item shall be used to protect the cattle guard on Parcel 004 during abutment excavation. If the Contractor's means and methods allow for work to proceed without the temporary shoring and do not violate excavation safety, it will be handled in accordance with the contract documents during construction.	1/22/2026
