There are no plans of the existing bridge.  
 
Subject: Cofferdams Type: Permits

The permits state that a cofferdam shall be installed but shows a pipe with temporary dams at each end. Is that being considered the "cofferdam?" If so, what size pipe is required?

The permit sketch is showing the worst case scenario for stream impacts, and the cofferdam is referring to the diversion shown with the culvert/pipe. The minimum opening for temporary smooth wall pipe(s) is 34.8SF and for temporary corrugated pipe(s) is 67.1SF.
