Two of the four sections of Rt. 33 have nighttime work hours listed. (Section #1 and #4.) Sections #2 and #3 have daytime hours listed, "or as otherwise directed by Resident Engineer." Will the Department agree to the same night time hours for these two sections as the other two sections--7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. ??

The hours for each section are based on the traffic volumes and type of area (residential or commercial). The Area Construction Engineer has the authority to modify the hours as he/she sees fit. Contractors should bid the work as listed in the proposal. Modification of the allowable hours may or may not be allowed.
