Can the entire length of the proposed box culvert be pre-cast?

Yes, the structure length for a pre-cast box would increase to 118’ and would require a 45° skew for the endwall/headwall. VDOT has revised page 3 of the plans. This page is posted under ANNOUNCEMENTS on the Construction Home page. Please also notice these changes: Line Item No. 0450 -6” DI Water Main should be 364LF (vs. 182 LF per plans) ~~~ Line Item No. 0470 – 6” GV should be 4 EA (vs. 2 EA per plans) ~~~ Line Item No. 0480 – 16” Steel Encase Pipe will not be used
