Plan sheet 5 depicts the permanent attenuator as LOW MAINTENANCE. The bid item (13607) for this attenuator does not denote low maintenance. What is correct, the bid item as a re-directive only or the plan sheet for low maintenance?

The storm run shown on Sheet 5 runs through the grass strip between existing sidewalk and curb/gutter. The sidewalk will have to be removed and the curb will most likely be damaged. Where is this work measured and paid?

Nine foot posts will be required where the two foot four inch space the GR-MGS1 cannot be provided which is approximately 50 LF along EB Russell Branch Parkway. The discrepancy will be addressed after Contract execution.

The time for Lane Closures chart on page 240, allows for overnight double lane restrictions to last until 5:00 a.m. The Lane Users fees on Page 242 creates fines past 4:00 a.m. Which chart is correct?

Allowable lane closure hours are based on the table in the Limitations of Operation special provision not the user fee table.

Bid Item 0780 PCMS has a bid quantity of 3,360 HR. The traffic plans don't show any PCMS boards, please advise where the PCMS signs will be utilized

The PCMS will be used for lane closure operations (shoulder closure, lane shifts, etc.) and every time the traffic patterns will be changed. The PCMS are to be used on each roadway of this project (Russell Branch and Route 7) for two weeks in advance before any work starts.

The existing water mains within the project limits are believed to be ductile iron, but per general note 1 on sheet 12(2), “The location, depths and sizes of existing utilities shown on the utility adjustment plans are not guaranteed.  The contractor shall field verify with test holes the location, elevation, type, roundness and size of all existing underground utilities and points of connection prior to excavation, ordering materials and installation for this project.”

Architectural treatment is required on the outside of the BR-27 railing including terminal walls on the bridge and the MSE moment slabs.  This is paid under Item 62004.
