What is the warranty period for this project? Nothing is stipulated in the contract specifications for a project warranty length.

No explicit warranty is required for the scope of the project. The project is the responsibility of the contractor until a closing C-5 is issued. At that time it becomes the responsibility of the Department.

Please see the Road and Bridge Specifications, Section 102.7. Yes, bid, performance and payment bonds are required.

As a followup after a site visit of three of the culverts within the scope of work, it was noted that the pipes have ovality. The pipes were not 84" perfectly round/circular pipes as the previous response had implied, so we are following up for additional clarification. Much of the culvert was inaccessible at the time of the visit due to active flow and needed clearing/grubbing so we were unable to determine maximum ovalities for each culvert visited. As the ovality should be taken into consideration when determining engineered thickness designs, does the DOT have ovality information available as an engineering input for the design of this liner for consideration at the time of bid?
