Please inform the method of payment for Adhesive Based Class ! Joint Sealer on parapets. Is this incidental to the Item Expansion Joint Reconstruction? We do not find a separate pay item for this work in the proposal.

Per VDOT Standard Drawing, sheet 14, 6th note, the cost of Class 1 Adhesive Based Joint Sealer shall be included in the bid price for Asphalt Plug Joint.

Please confirm bearing replacement includes replacing the neoprene pads only and not the sole plates.

Per Note 7 on Sheet 8, the Replace Bearing pay item includes replacement of the elastomeric pad and preparation of pad contact surfaces.

Plan (Sh 2 of 16) shows Type B Patching quantity includes surface of bridge deck both on top and underneath, Can you breakdown the quantity for top surface and bottom surface because they require different procedure/equipment to repair?

The deck Patching Type B (LMC-VE) will be used for the surface of bridge deck and for any repairs underneath of bridge deck will be paid under pay item for concrete superstructure surface repair.
