On Page 140 of Bid Proposal document, Work hours are specified basically from 9:00 am till 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Last sentence of paragraph 1 states "Work hours and allowable lane closure approvals....will be specific to each route segment." A table was not provided specifying these route segments and allowable time limits. Is this available to bidders now?

Allowable work hours will be from 9:00 am till 3:30 pm Monday through Friday unless approved by the Engineer.

Question Date: 7/15/2019 11:40:15 AM
SS247-002016-01 on page 122 of the proposal section 247.02(b) states type IV, IX or XI reflective sheeting shall be used on Non-Overhead Permanent signs. SS701-002016-01 on page 129 of the proposal section 701.02(a)(2) states type XI reflective sheeting for Non-Overhead Permanent Signs except for Brown or Blue. Is XI including footnote 2 under 701.02(a)(2) the only reflective sheeting specified?
Answer   Date: 7/19/2019 10:30:41 AM
Type XI reflective sheeting will be required for all non-overhead permanent signs except for Brown or Blue.

Subject: Flagger Service Type: Proposal
Question Date: 7/12/2019 10:48:10 AM
2100 flagging hours is much lower than we'd expect for this project. Just to confirm our understanding of payment for this line item, if 3 workers flag for 10 hours, is that 30 hours of billable flagger service or 10 hours of billable flagger service?
Answer   Date: 7/19/2019 10:33:01 AM
Flagger service will be billed per flagger per hour.

Subject: Rock Type: Proposal
Question Date: 7/12/2019 10:20:29 AM
Rock does not appear to be addressed in the proposal or line items. When rock is encountered while installing foundations, how will this be paid for?
Answer   Date: 7/19/2019 10:34:44 AM
The cost for any rock encountered, that cannot be avoided, will be incidental to the installation of the sign post.

Subject: Install only line item Type: Proposal
Question Date: 7/12/2019 10:16:56 AM
There are some instances where a sign is being removed and another sign in being installed in its place. Page 161, location 24.35, for example, has a removal of a 45 MPH sign and the installation of a 35 MPH sign. There is a line item for removal but not for installation. How will payment be covered for the installation?
Answer   Date: 7/19/2019 10:35:12 AM
The installation is covered in the sign panel line item.

Subject: GPS Type: Proposal
Question Date: 6/28/2019 10:15:27 AM
Are GPS coordinates available for the proposed locations?
Answer   Date: 7/8/2019 1:47:31 PM
GPS Coordinates are not available.

Subject: Quantity totals per location Type: Proposal
Question Date: 6/28/2019 10:08:49 AM
Can the department please provide line item totals per location? The summary sheet only lists the total amount per section which makes it virtually impossible to determine if the totals are accurate. Also missing are the sign panel dimensions. For example the standard W1-8 sign is available in three different sizes.
Answer   Date: 7/2/2019 3:23:29 PM
Line item totals are provided per section and per route in each county. The primary sign panel dimensions are as follows: curve warning signs - 36"X36" Chevrons (W1-8) - 18"X24" Advisory signs (W13-1) - 18"X18" Arrows (W1-6) - 48"X24"
