The revision included a revised Pavement Summary on plan sheet 2F(3) that now shows 3,026 SY of Flexible Pavement Planing 0"-2" but the Bid quantity remained 6,057 SY, which quantity is correct?

The quantity, 3,026 SY of Flexible Pavement Planing 0"-2" shown in the revised Pavement Summary on plan sheet 2F(3) is correct.

There are several references in the Plans to Note #2 on Plan Sheet 2H which states that "All excavated materials will not be reused and will be disposed of in accordance with VDOT 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications section 106.04, paragraph (b)6". This section of the Specifications references materials that are to be disposed in a licensed landfill. Is this correct? Additionally, can you confirm that the material excavated as part of the water and sewer installations would also fall under the category of "Unusable Material"?

Note 2 on Plan Sheet 2H and the referenced section of the VDOT 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications addresses the process for proper disposal of material that meets characteristics similar to the examples cited in the referenced specification. The quantity listed does not include the material excavated as part of the water and sewer installations. As with any excavation on this project site, some of the material excavated as part of the water and sewer installations may exhibit characteristics similar to the the examples cited in the referenced specification. Unusable material that does not meet characteristics similar to the examples cited in the referenced specification would be disposed of using practices consistent with the project special provisions and the VDOT 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications.

The bid sheet has a quantity of 418 sf of sign panel. I have found 169 sf for the ground mount signs and 80 sf in the traffic signal plans. Can you verify that the bid quantity is correct and where to find the remaining 169 sf in the drawings?

The bid sheet quantity of 418 sf of sign panel is incorrect. The 4-12-2019 revision changed the bid sheet quantity to 249 sf. The combined quantity of 249 sf (169 sf for the ground mount signs and 80 sf in the traffic signal plans) is the correct quantity.

VDOT will provide no additional payment for stored materials. Contractor shall be guided by R&B Specs. 106.08 - Storing Materials, and 109.09 - Payment for Material on Hand. In particular, Sec. 109.09(b)Other Materials, and 109.09(d)-Storage explain the payment amounts and process for providing storage and VDOT inspection access."
