Preboring piles requires a mandatory seven feet embedment into rock. At Abutment A, the plan estimated quantities is showing predrilling beginning 10' below the pile cutoff elevation and approximately 11' above the bottom of the MSE wall. At abutment B, the plan estimated quantity is showing predrilling beginning 12' below the pile cutoff and approximately 12' above the bottom of the MSE wall. Is this the intent of the designer? If not the bid quantity of predrilling needs to be corrected to reflect the actual estimated quantity which is closer to 600 linear feet below the top of the DAPs

On the Roadside Development sheet, we find the seed mix/schedule required for the specific project we are going to quote with a primary contractor. Within the last few months we are seeing more and more of a pollinator mix (type K below) being an additive to the legume seed mixture for slopes. In some projects it will list the specific flowers to be included in the mix. For this project (NFO) 0122-033-733, C501, B614 N92 in Franklin County, the additive is just listed as pollinator mix. From my experience, this can be hundreds of different mixes that vary greatly in price. What specific seed and ratio of seed types is desired on this project?

On sheet 2N for sign no 301 it states that this is a proposed FB-2 structure that will be installed on a STP-1. According to the VDOT specs this should be on an W4x13 with a 1'9" x 4'6" foundation. Please clarify.

Sheet 2N will be modified to note Sign Structure St’d as FB-2. Sheet 2D will be modified to adjust STP-1 and Foundation quantities accordingly.

The list of VDOT approved MSE Wall Systems found on Sheet 35/39 of the bridge plans does not include the SINE WALL MSE Wall System, which is a Category A approved system with VDOT. Can you please confirm that the SINE WALL system will be allowed for use on Order Number N92?

The SINE WALL MSE Wall System was inadvertently omitted from the plans and is an acceptable system for use on this project, a revision will address.

Sheet 36 of the Bridge plans shows a leveling pad elevation of approximately 895.5' at MSE Sta 11+26.51 (Sta 118+48.87 roadway). Sheet 15 of the Cross Sections for Sta 118+.48.89 shows a leveling pad elevation of approximately 902'. Which is correct? Same question for Sta 11+43 through Sta 11+73 of the MSE wall on Sheet 37 of the Bridge Plans. Cross Section pages 16 and 17 show the leveling pad at a different elevation.

MSE design diagrams within the bridge plans control. Roadway cross sections are representative only and should not be utilized to determine leveling pad elevations without the contractor's final design.

Is it possible to get merged documents available on Project Wise? There are errors with the digital signatures that prevent the individual sheet files from being combined.
