Sheet 13d of the plans calls for a 15' prescriptive easement on the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest sides of the structure and a 30' prescriptive easement on the Northwest side of the structure. All of the lines showing the right of way appear to be drawn the same distance from the centerline on all sides of the structure. What is the distance to the right of way or easement from the centerline of the road on all sides of the structure?

Rte. 717 Secretary Sand's Road exists only on a 30' prescriptive easement 15' on either side of the centerline all the way around the structure.

Question
Date:

Tree Cutting is called for in the notes on sheet 2 of 13 of the plans. This tree will need to be cut early on in the project which will fall within the normal time frame for the tree cutting time of year restriction but we do not see where this restriction is included in this contract. Will we be restricted to a certain time on the cutting of this tree or any other trees that may need to be cut?
Answer

There are no tree cutting restrictions associated within the project limits.

Truss and Guardrail Painting
Type:
Plan
Question
Date:
4/4/2018 9:07:55 AM
Can the Texas T-6 railing and post be paint coated or powder coated? Also, is there a specific reason the truss and guardrail can't be field painted?
Answer
Date:
4/4/2018 1:35:38 PM
Sheet 2 of the plans states "After galvanizing all exposed metal surfaces of the truss members, truss bearings, Texas T-6 railing, and railing posts shall be washed, prepared and painted in accordance with Sec. 411.07(b) of the Specifications. Painting shall be shop applied." Historically the shop application of paint provides a longer lasting finish than field applied coatings without being subject to potentially uncontrollable field conditions.
