On certain sections of Rt. 17 in Gloucester Cty. the proposal shows SMA for mainline and SM12.5A for shoulders. However, some of these shoulders are not full paving widths.Is it the Departments intention to use SMA for these less than full width shoulders??

The proposal is correct. It is the Department’s intention to place SMA only on the mainline and SM-12.5A on all other areas, shoulders, turn lanes, crossovers, connections etc.
