Any modem that fulfils the requirements set forth in Section 807.02 (a) of the 2016 Road and Bridge Specifications may be installed.  
 
Subject: Wireless Digi Router Type: Plan

On plan page 10(3) the Signal Pole and Controller Legend specifies the contractor installing a wireless digital router. Should there be a line item added or how will the contractor be compensated? The cellular/PCS wireless modem is not the same line item.

The Signal Pole and Controller Legend may be considered to be in error. It should specify “Install Cellular/PCS Wireless Modem.”
