1. Item 960 - (Replace with Sign Ty. SP-4 on O/H Str.) - the summary of quantities on sheet 10(2) shows 2 signs to be replaced on sheet 10(9). However sign 10(9) only shows one sign to be replaced. Please advise where the other sign is to replaced. 2. Item 990 - (Relocate Existing sign Ty. SP-3) - The signs to be relocated are mounted on TY.VIA steel posts. There is no pay item for the new foundations nor relocating the sign structures.

1.) • The existing Northampton Blvd Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel ½ mile sign is to be replaced with the Northampton Blvd Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel ½ mile and Exit 282 signs as shown on sheet 10(9). 2). • Relocate Existing sign Ty. SP-3 (Virginia Logos signs) shall include the cost of all hardware, posts, temporary mounting and foundations as described in the general note #5 on sheet 10(1) and plan note on sheet 10(6).

Revision one schedule of items added a new item , 0830 UTILTIES UTILITIES LUMP SUM, that was not in the original schedule of items and renumbered all items after it. This new item is not discussed in the revision letter as a new item. Please define what this item is to cover.

Sheet 12(3) Note 1, and Sheet 12(4) Note 2 both state to "Install CCTV Camera on Extension Arm above Mast Arm". There is no line item for this extension arm. Will this be mounted on a luminaire type arm at the top of the dual arm signal pole assemblies (MP-3 Type F) or is this an independent arm banded to the mast arm assemblies at the top of the pole (MP-3 Type C).

Bid items 50600, 50623, 50696, 50759, 50762, and 50883 are remove/modify sign type items. These items are addressed in notes on the plans, and covered in section 510 (RELOCATING OR MODIFYING EXISTING MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS). The measure of payment is each as expressed in the contract documents.

The item description of sheet 12(2) is incorrect. It should be “Video Surveillance CCTV Conductor Cable Assembly” to match the measurement and payment of the special provision for Section 803-CCTV Video Equipment
