Will this work be done over small creeks or rivers with tremendous currents? How would you recommend we price that out?

Page 3 of the no-plan assembly on this project (Page 113 of the contract proposal) indicates that, in general, the bridges in this contract will be in tidal waters. VDOT has not established a schedule of structures for this work at this time. Nevertheless, bidders should anticipate that this work will be in Fredericksburg District and in tidal waters. Furthermore, consistent with deterioration mechanisms in steel reinforced concrete pile, bidders should anticipate that the work will be in brackish water no further west than the line connecting Rte. 301 over Potomac River, Rte. 360 over Rappahannock River and Rte. 33 over the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Rivers.
