Pages 108-110 of the Proposal describe and detail a procedure for sawing and sealing joints. Will this Special Provision and corresponding detail apply to this project? If yes, how will the contractor be paid for this work?

No, the Sawing and Sealing Joints Special Provision was mistakenly attached in the proposal and is not being used in this contract. Please ignore the Sawing and Sealing Joints Special Provision.

For the approximately #600 patches will the beveled edge left by a milling machine be sufficient to tie in the 6' long asphalt patches or will the contractor be required to saw cut each side of the 2" deep cut for the tie in?

All milled asphalt patches are to have straight vertical faces around the entire perimeter of the patch area.
