The Pavement Summary on sheet 2C includes quantities for Utility patching with the Asphalt Concrete bid item totals. Could you clarify which utilities these quantities apply to or whether all utility patching of existing pavement will be paid for using the Asphalt bid items?

This item is for patching the existing asphalt roadway where the proposed water mains and service lines cross. These patches would be installed in the early stages of construction before the roadway construction begins to provide a paved surface for the traffic.
