The accessible Ped. Pushbutton PA-2 and PA-3 are the items that are needed for these two locations. These items provide the audible sound that is currently used on the west side of the intersections for both locations. The Ped. Actuation PA-2 and PA-3 pushbuttons (Item #s 51198 and 51199) are to be disregarded.

Yes, contractor shall provide 3 new units and return the two used EVP units to VDOT. They will be returned back to the Traffic Signal shop for future use.

Is this going on a new pedestal pole foundation or the existing foundation? If it is a new one do we take out the old foundation and if it is new one how will it be paid? If they are doing drainage work will the foundation and existing conduit and/or cables need replaced? If so, how will this be paid?

There will likely be a new foundation required because the old foundation may be destroyed by drainage work. This could include the replacement of conduit/cables that might be destroyed as well. All work will be included in the Remove and install pedestal pole.

A detector rack is already in place in the new Controller Cabinet for this location. The Contractor will reuse the existing Controller and relocate it to the existing empty Controller Cabinet.
