does the state want the curb cut flat on top or like mountable curb with the laid back face?

The curb shall be mountable; matching standard MC-3B if the existing curb material is asphalt and standard CG-3 if the existing curb material is concrete.

There are approximately 1,500 existing guardrail posts to be removed and approximately 3,000 new guardrail posts to be installed in the existing asphalt curb backup material. Would the department consider adding a pay item for Asphalt Concrete should the resulting damage to the curb and backup material be too extensive for "patch" repair?

The cost for patching and repairs to the existing asphalt curb backup material shall be included in the cost of other appropriate pay items.

Given that there is the potential for numerous underground utility conflicts, would the department consider adding a pay item for hand dig post holes or is the burden of this cost to be included in existing pay items?
