The bid item sheet calls for a driving test for the 10" piles, but the proposal calls for end bearing test. Which is applicable?

The specified time frame for construction is set as 5/2/2016 to 8/26/2016 and falls within the work restrictions for federally protected bats. Please confirm that demolition, driving of sheet piling, and bridge construction will not violate the requirements.

A pre-award evaluation will be conducted by the department, then again ten (10) days before beginning the work. If the specific bat is found then VDOT and the successful contactor will mutually agree upon any necessary action.
