Is the contractor responsible for picking up material at department stockpile and delivering to the project site? If so, what is the physical address where the contractor can pick up the department material?

Yes the contractor is responsible for picking up material for both GR-9 Terminals and Gibraltar cable barrier repair materials to the project site. The pickup addresses and contact persons are indicated in the General Notes of the bid-proposal on page 166.

Subject: Item #'s 51960 and 85012 Cable Barrier Repair Items. Type: Specifications

The cable barrier repairs for items 51960 are specified in the contract to be installed using department material. Please define the purpose for the 85012 cable barrier repair items. Are these to be used by the department to purchase the physical material that is to be installed under the 51960 item, or are the 85012 items to furnish and install cable barrier items in the contract?

Please refer to General Notes on page 166 of the proposal. Items 85004 & 85012 are specified in the proposal to be furnished and installed by the Contractor using Gibraltar cable barrier repair items.
