I am unable to submit my electronic bid bond. The proposal has a different contract id from what is in bid express. Please advise how to submit my electronic bond.

You may submit your electronic bid bond using the form C-24 from the proposal and placing the bond number on the bottom of the form. You may fax this form into our office at 804-225-2447 . This form needs to be submitted by 10:00 am Wednesday morning.

Note the detail on page 27. Bidders must visit the job and refer to Page 16 of the No Plan Assembly for the explanation of the procedure to reset or replace a rocker expansion bearing.

Please provide detail for "Special Design Bearing Pad".

The pads denoted Special Design Pad on sheets 25 and 26 of the “No Plan” assembly will be new steel-reinforced elastomeric bearing pads. The special design designation simply means the bearing pads are not generic and will be designed for site specific dimensions and heights. For bidding purposes, a typical bearing pad may be sized as 10”x10”x3”.
