Do we have to use Temporary Portable Impact Attenuator at the site? (Attenuator Service Ty I mentioned at page 196 Maintenance of Traffic) Also do we have to place Temp Traffic Barrier? (concrete barriers???) Can we place lane closure (Group II devices) for Traffic Control (maintenance of traffic) to perform our work? It has 12' wide shoulder. Thanks

The temp. concr. barrier & Impact attenuator are for extended duration work zones. The shoulder will be closed for equipment, materials, excavation, footers, rebar, forms, etc. in the clear zone. Group IIs will not adequately protect this area during construction.

There is no contract pay item for Mobilization. Could you please establish pay item for Mobilization or it should be at other pay item? Thanks.
