Bid Item No. 0220 indicates for a FIELD OFFICE TYPE i for 10 months. This appears to be an overkill for this size project.Would a Type ii Field Office suffice ?

This project site is very limited in space. Does VDOT have a location in mind on where to place the Field Office with corresponding sized graveled parking lot, as stated in Supplemental Specification SS51401?

This road is going to closed and traffic will detoured. Contractor should address this issue and solve with Construction Manager.

Sheet 5 of 14 of the Bridge Plans indicate a test pile in Abut. A only.There is a bid item for Dynamic Pile Test but NO bid item for TEST PILE. Should there be a bid item for TEST PILE or is it included with the Prestressed Concrete Piles ? Please advise.

On sheet 5 of 14, designer indicated location of test pile. Pay item “Dynamic Test Pile” is correct and stands for method of test- dynamic, which recommended by design. No additional pay item as “Test Pile” required.
