item 2320 relocate sign
Type:
Proposal
Question
Date:
12/11/2014 3:40:00 PM
The contract states,"Relocate Existing Ground Mounted Sign Panel will be measured in units of each and will be paid for at the contract unit price per each. This price shall include removing and relocating sign panel; furnishing and installing new mounting hardware, brackets, on a new structure." Does this mean that the Contractor is to furnish a new structure or will the sign be relocated to a new structure paid for under a separate pay item?
Answer
Date:
12/12/2014 11:51:50 AM
The answer is yes to both questions. One payment is made to remove and relocate the panel. There is a separate payment for the sign support, which has been quantified in the contract, as well, a separate payment for the foundation.
