Minor Structure Excavation will be paid for in accordance with the 2020 R&B Specifications, specifically Section 303.06 (4).

In the General Notes, on Page 85, No. 11 states that "Method B pipe replacements shall be RCP CLIII or better". What criteria must be better? Is it referring to strength?

The note refers to the strength of the pipe. RCP CLIII or greater class will be acceptable.

On the schedule of items, lines 0220 – 0250 it calls for Method B, Category A. Are we able to use Method B, Category B – the fold and form for these items? .

Bids must be according to the current methods presented in the contract. Alternate method(s) may be submitted for the Department's review after award. If approved by the Engineer, the contract will be amended through the change order process to allow for alternate method(s).
