On Page 148 of the proposal in the Norfolk Southern Railway Work Requirements SP, it states in the Demolition Procedure that "Existing, obsolete, bridge piers shall be removed entirely to enable restoration of the existing/proposed track ditch." With no plans available of the existing bridge, would it be possible to more clearly define the scope of this activity, so that unexpected conditions can be addressed by change order? Because, what if H-pile is present, or an unusually deep concrete foundation?
