Does this item require included cost for divers; floating work platforms, etc.?? What is to be considered access to this work?

BI# 0690 payment will be in accordance with the Special Provision for Bridge Pile Repair with Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Jacket which is provided within the Contract. If work is required to be done “in the wet”, then a Change Order can be negotiated for the appropriate added costs. Access will be determined on a case by case basis depending on the work’s specific location.

Special provision states … all Task Orders will be in excess of $75,000. Why do we have bid items for Mobilization less than $75,000 BI #1 thru #4? Bid items do not correspond with special provision Section 513.

The special provision referenced “intent” that all task orders are anticipated to be $75,000 or greater. The bid items stating less than are there in the event the Department issues a task for less than $75,000. Mobilization SPCN (page 4) amends Special Provision Section 513 (page 148).

Existing bridge plans (as-builts) will be provided to the awarded Contractor when a specific task order is issued.
