The bid item quantity for the shoulder wedge prep on this contract is 100,447 LF. It will take several pieces of machinery to complete the pavement shoulder wedge prep. It will take the same number of machines to complete 100 LF or 100,447 LF. Will the engineer be allowed to pay for the entire LF on the contract for each map as advertised or will it be paid as directed by the engineer when the contract is planned to begin?

The Contractor will be paid for Pavement shoulder wedge prep as per section 109.08(a) of the Road and Bridge Specifications.
