With the need for part of the Type II & Type III Surface restoration to be completed by 12/7/2018. When will the Award Recommendation Letter be issued by the Chief Engineer per Accelerated Award (section 103.02) (SPCN on page 9 of Contract Book)? What date will VDOT guarantee to have the Contract Execution assuming the Contractor submits the required bonds & insurance certificates within the 7 days (per SPCN on pages 9 & 10 of Contract Book) and Contractor executes & returns the Contract within 7 days of receiving it from VDOT? A set timeframe for the answer to these questions is critical to know the amount of time available, therefore the amount of resources needed to complete the Type II & Type III Surface Restoration required by 12/7/18.
