Due to installing new video this will require modifying existing controller at the ramp, how will this be paid? Has VDOT verified that the existing controller will accept another video system? Does the contractor need to match the existing video?

A line item will be added for Modify Existing Controller Cabinet with a unit of 'Each' and a quantity of eight (8) for both the temporary signals and permanent signals at all locations. The City has a hybrid video detection system in the cabinet at the signal at 15th St and Franklin St and both Iteris and AutoScope detectors are used. The new camera should be compatible to existing controller (ECONOLITE ASC/3-2100) and existing camera hardware from AutoScope.	8/15/2018
