It seems unlikely that this project will be awarded in time to switch traffic this year pushing the start of construction to spring of 2015. Will VDOT extend to completion date?

The completion date has been changed to August 10, 2016. It is too late for an official addendum, so a posting under ANNOUNCEMENTS on the Construction website will serve as notice of the change. The final contract will show the completion date as August 10, 2016.	9/18/2014
VDOT's schedule shows that there is enough time to complete the project within the time accorded even if traffic is switched in the spring of 2015.	9/12/2014
